Chicago, IL. Patriot has just completed testing on our new M2 machine gun rig.this rig allows indoor firing of the Ma duce on standard police, military, or commercial ranges. This unit is used in the defense department testing of weapon components & function. The rig is outfitted with our custom sound attenuation chamber. The chamber reduces the weapon sound and the felt concussion of a 14,000 ft/lb cartridge, known as a proof load, to levels of small caliber pistol types. The magic is in the silencer design (company secret). Though technically a sound apparatus, as a weapon silencer would require certain BATF licensing, this device contains the .50 cal BMG blast, which is the product of a powder charge of 150% over standard loads. This is what the government requires to accept or refuse weapon components for use. Our weapon rig is able to harness that awesome energy and produce substantially reduced sound & shock emission of the proof load. This is the way to test one of the greatest machine guns, ever built.
